It was fabulous to be able to facilitate, organise and have our annual Sports Days this year.

We spilt the usual full day combined event with the Boys’ Prep School into four separate days this year to ensure year groups maintained the protocol of separate bubbles.

Reception experienced their first Sports Day and managed to dodge the downpours, competing in two throwing, two running and two jumping events wearing their House tops and immersing themselves in team spirit.

Years 3 and 4’s Sports Day was a full day on Wednesday and some impressive individual results, whilst cheering loudly for their House in the team relays, was a huge highlight.

Years 5 and 6 had the warmest day of the week and the increased temperature tested their mental strength and resilience. The House captains led the opening ceremony lap superbly and it was an honour for them to lead their House with such pride and grace. Again, we experienced some outstanding individual performances and the girls loved receiving their bronze, silver and gold certificates to acknowledge their success.

Years 1 and 2 Sports Day rounded off the fantastic week and was awesome to see their collaboration and encouragement towards their peers , demonstrating the ability to compete against their own personal bests in the running, throwing and jumping events. The PE Department were so impressed with every single girl for their tenacity and perseverance demonstrated consistently across the week.
