Girls’ Prep Reception Mother’s

Posted: 15th June 2021

Mother’s Day is always a special celebration in our Girls’ Prep Reception classes, and this year was no exception!

On returning to School, the girls did not stop talking about all the preparations for the big event. “I Love You to Pieces”, was the message in their cards, and they echoed this feeling in their video about why their mummies are special. From baking cakes, letting them lick the spoon, cuddles and hugs, to helping with tricky online learning, you have shone in the lives of your little girls and they truly love you very much. Mr Wray breathed a sigh of relief when our girls came back to School and sang their amazing Mother’s Day song altogether for the first time, after learning it muted during online learning! We knew they would not let us down, and their rendition of’ I picked some flowers just for you’, was amazing – and probably required a few hankies at the end!

Our mummies were treated to a thoughtful, delicious goody bag, including flowers and handmade duck cookies from our generous ‘Green and Silver Club’ who kindly organised this, which we are sure made Mother’s Day extra beautiful this year!

Thank you for all that you do!
