Author Atinuke Reads From New Book ‘Too Small Tola’

Atinuke ready for an interview over Zoom

Pupils in 3D thoroughly enjoyed hearing author, Atinuke, talk passionately about her new and exciting chapter book, ‘Too Small Tola’.

The girls have recently started reading the book in class and enjoyed hearing all about Tola and the life that she shares with her brother, Dapo, sister, Moji and her Grandmummy, set in sunny Lagos, Nigeria. Atinuke read the first part of the book in her thick Nigerian accent, really allowing the girls to immerse themselves into Tola’s world. The girls can’t wait to read some more of Atinuke’s books, which have now made their way into 3D’s book corner!

The girls have really enjoyed making links to the variety of different topics that are covered during the diversity and inclusion work on Tuesday and Thursday mornings via Showbie, but also through the discussions that are being had in a variety of subjects here at the Girls‘ Prep School.
