FATHER CHRISTMAS COMES TO LOC

Posted: 17th December 2020

Our Reception boys recently visited our Hinchley Wood grounds to enjoy a wintery walk through the trees, collecting twigs for a forthcoming Art project.

Having returned from their walks, the boys sat on the log seats ready for their story when a very recognisable surprise visitor appeared! The boys were so excited to catch sight of Father Christmas appearing in the distance. He talked to the boys whilst they enjoyed their hot chocolate and cookie. The joy on the boys’ faces was clear and they were very keen to tell Father Christmas that they had all been very good this year. After Father Christmas had left, the boys were read a Christmas story.

Reception boys were very lucky with the weather, running through the autumn leaves on a dry afternoon. It was a magical, memorable afternoon, delivering some wonderful Christmas cheer.
