THE BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ SCHOOLS WORKED TOGETHER TO PRACTISE THEIR TIMES TABLES TO SCORE POINTS FOR THEI

Posted: 19th November 2020

Practising times tables is absolutely key to Maths, and so last week the children entered the Times Tables Rockstars Maths Week England Competition.

The Boys’ and Girls’ schools worked together to practise their times tables to score points for their class and their school.  They did so well, managing to score a massive 387,350 points from correct answers! We came a respectable 158th place out of 3887 schools. Special mention to classes 4CJ who scored the most points per pupil, and 6CL who scored the most points overall. Four players really stood out, and they scored nearly 100,000 of those points between them! They were William in Year 5, Arjan and Riyaan in Year 4 and Hugo in Year 3.

Well done to everyone who took part in the competition!
