THE RECEPTION BOYS ENJOYED THEIR FIRST TRIP TO THE BRITISH WILDLIFE CENTRE

Posted: 6th November 2020

On Wednesday 4 November, the Reception boys enjoyed a trip to The British Wildlife Centre, in the glorious autumn sunshine.

They were able to see many native British animals, including mice, rats, otters, owls, deer, foxes, hedgehogs, red squirrels and the Scottish wildcat. The keepers taught the boys all about the animals’ diet and habitat, and some animals that were threatened with extinction. The boys had a truly fantastic day and their behaviour was impeccable.

We returned to School, plenty of them sleeping on the way, with an abundance of new knowledge that the boys have included in their writing. A wonderful day was had by all!
