In Year 3 this week, the boys have been learning all about germination.
They have completed their own storyboard to describe each step of the process and now they are growing a broad bean to observe the process in real life. The beans are in their early stages, but the boys were incredibly excited to see the seeds expand and start to split as the young root breaks out in search of water.
It was great to hear the boys in class discussing the changes they saw using the key vocabulary that we have been learning in recent weeks.
