Years 12 Compete in Intermediate Biology Olympiad

Some of our Year 12 pupils took part in the online Intermediate Biology Olympiad and they came away with 9 Gold – Bronze certificates!

The Intermediate Biology Olympiad is a competition held by the Royal Society of Biology that is designed to challenge students’ biology knowledge and encourage them to pursue Biology beyond A Level.

The competition consists of a one-hour multiple choice test taken online and is entered into by Year 12 Biology students around the country. The girls did incredibly well to come away with 9 Gold – Bronze certificates.

  • Gold Certificate – Elizabeth Zachariah
  • Silver Certificate – Chiara Lambert and Bea Clark
  • Bronze Certificate – Jasmine de la Touche, Molly La Frenais, Elodie Dunne, Olivia Hubbard, Iris Aukett, Sofia Lambert
  • Highly Commended – Tania Podoprigora, Harriet McGillivray, Mabel Crossley, Aisling Tan
