U10 Hockey Tournament
On Saturday 12 November, ten pupils had an early start to represent the school in the U10 Downsend Hockey Tournament. Although blurry-eyed, the team started well in their first game against Downsend, having their share of chances, only to lose 1-0. From this point, the team grew in confidence, using the space and width to connect passes, leading to 0-0 score draws against St. Teresa’s, Reigate St. Mary’s and CLFS. The last game against Danes Hill was impressive and tense with end-to-end hockey, whereby Isla scored to ensure we took the win! Well done to all those pupils that took part and played the tournament in such good spirit, coming in third place overall. Please come up to collect your certificates.

Surrey Schools Ski Championships
For the first time in a few years, we were able to enter two teams into the prep category, with one of those being a mixed team. An early start saw us at Aldershot at 7.30am, but everybody was there full of smiles and excitement… albeit may have also been nerves.
The girls team came away as winners: Jolie, Katherine, Gigi and Isabella.
And the mixed team were 2nd: Phoebe, Clara G, Eleanor E and Jamie. They were so close and it was the first race for all of this team. Overall individual results saw Gigi in 3rd and Jolie as the fastest skier of the morning.
Year 2 World Cup Sports Festival
To celebrate the Cricket T20, Football and Rugby World Cups, Year 2 participated in all three sports. The pupils had fun using their fundamental movement skills to strike and kick a ball, as well as being introduced to some basic skills in rugby. Well done to Year 2 who took part with bags of energy and enthusiasm!
