Examination Results
Surbiton High School girls have, once again, excelled in achieving a strong set of 'A' Level results. With an overall pass rate of 100%, 52% of grades were at "A*-A" and 86% of grades were at "A*-B".
Places have been secured at a host of top Russell Group universities on courses in Medicine, Veterinary Science, Mathematics, Modern Foreign Languages, English Literature and a whole range of other popular subjects.
Other notable achievements saw a place secured at RADA to study Acting as well as a 100% "A*-B" pass rate (with 79% of grades at "A*-A") in the highly rated Extended Project Qualification which allows students to demonstrate their independent learning skills.
A number of girls were able to balance their high level sporting success with impressive academic achievement. The "Coxless Four" rowing team who won the Vesta Cup at the Henley Regatta shared "10 A*, As and 5 B" grades between them and two of our international skiers managed to compete in a number of high level tournaments abroad as well as gaining top grades between them.
Principal, Ann Haydon said "these results confirm the recent judgement of the Independent Schools Inspectorate: Surbiton High School is an excellent school. We congratulate all of our girls on their outstanding achievement and wish them every success on their university courses and beyond".
