Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a popular and flourishing extra-curricular option. We currently run Bronze and Gold and will be introducing Silver in September 2011. The students take part in practice expeditions on the North and South Downs along with the Brecon Beacons for Gold. The qualifying expeditions are in the New Forest for Bronze and the Lake District for Gold.  Students learn to take responsibility for many areas and find new interests while pursuing their goal. We offer voluntary activities such as Friendship hour, sports coaching and a whole range of physical and skill options. A thoroughly rewarding opportunity for any individual.
