Congratulations to Ciara Betts, Surbiton High School’s “School Journalist of the Year” - 23/06/2010

Many congratulations to Year 10 pupil Ciara Betts who was recently chosen as 'school journalist of the year' by our Local Guardian link journalist Diana Jarvis. Ciara will be awarded a book token in recognition of her achievement. Diana remarked how difficult her task was as all the articles submitted were exceptionally well written with regards to style, content and engagement of the reader.

Ciara was chosen from a shortlist of four Surbiton High School girls (the other girls being Katharine Butler, Ruba Ameen and Kate Pledger).
