Surbiton High School pupil selected for Surrey after success in the County Cross Country Championship - 25/01/2012

Congratulations to the following girls who were selected for Kingston Borough and ran in the County Cross Country Championships at Reigate last Saturday. In the Under 13 race, Poppy Courtney came 55th in 14.08, and Amy Starrett came 58th in 14.12 in a large high quality field. In the U15 race Lucy Pirkle came 54th in 15.51; Holly Beighton was 77th and Isabel Davies 78th. In the U17 race Phoebe Law had a fantastic run coming 18th in 16.21 and Kirsty Maxwell was 57th. As a result of her performance Phoebe has been selected to run for Surrey in the Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships at Basildon on the 4th February and also to attend an elite training day at Oxted County School with an international coach on the 12th February; this is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of Phoebe. Well done to all the runners.
