School Council

In September we elect the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer from Year 6. These four girls stay on the council all year along with two representatives from each class (Year 2 upwards) who are elected termly by their class as Form and Vice Form Captains.

We meet fortnightly in the library (with muffins and orange juice!), to discuss the views of the class. Last term we discussed uniform for the whole school review among other concerns or suggestions raised by each year group. Each class has a suggestion box for members to put in suggestions for improving our School. We discuss these each week. Later this term we are meeting with Brookwood to discuss lunches.

The School Council plays a big role in the Summer Term when we choose charities for the forthcoming year.
