Second Hand Uniform
The Second Hand Uniform Sale is run by parents for parents and provides an opportunity to buy and sell outgrown and unwanted good quality uniform and sports kit. Last year we recycled 1,700 items of clothing across 14 sales and made
over £11,000. Of this, £7,000 went back to parents and £4,000 went into
PA funds.
Stock levels are dictated by what parents send in.
What is Accepted for Sale?
All uniform should be CLEAN and reusable. Anything considered unfit for resale will automatically be sent to charity for recycling.
With the current transition from the light grey uniform to dark grey & green we are happy to accept all styles, both new and old.
Who can Wear What?
The light grey uniform can still be worn until July 2013 by pupils already in the school as at July 2011. From September 2013 all pupils should be in the new style uniform.*
*(Girls in Year 9 and boys in Year 4 as at Sept 2011 can wear light grey to see out their time at the School, subject to availability.)
Please note that it is not acceptable to mix and match old and new style uniform.
All pupils who started in Reception, Year 3 or Year 7 from September 2011 onwards must be in the new style uniform and sports kit.
After July 2013 any old style uniform will be forwarded to charity for recycling with particular items being sent to a needy school in Africa/Asia.

Amounts less than £5.00 will be carried over until the next term and added to any further sales made, thus alleviating the need to write and cash cheques for small amounts.
