Committee Members

Committee Members are elected each year at the PA Annual General Meeting and all parents are invited to attend. There are three permanent posts: Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. All members are elected for a three-year term and take responsibility for running events or taking on liaison roles. The three-year term ensures that new members have adequate support during their first year shadowing an event or activity, taking responsibility and then handing over to a newer committee member.

The Principal of Surbiton High School is the Honorary Vice Chairman. The Head of the Junior Girls' and Surbiton Boys' Preparatory Schools and one of the Senior School Vice Principals are Committee members.

There is one Executive and one General meeting each term. The General meetings are attended by the parent members of the PA. The Executive meetings are attended by the parent members plus the staff members.
